What can I do with this large asian fan?
My mom’s boyfriend also gave me this really large fan, he said was an original from china, which I do sense it’s authenticity, but I have no idea as to where I can place it.
I’ve been thinking of placing it on the wall atop my headboard but my room is more modern style, well with a few oriental stuff in it but the fan is a large accent.
But since the wood doesn’t really match, it’s like cherry? brown and my bedframe is that rich dark reddish brown color….so im’ thinking of staining the wood on the fan to match the color, what do you think?
Well I think it has been created in more recent china because I’ve looked at the way the wood has been designed and it seems like the wood pieces are compositions of smaller pieces put together through the usual method of cutting them to jigsaw into each other
