Is it safe to let a ferret play (supervised) in a room with tv/computer wires?

its in the living room. There is a sofa, love sofa and arm chair. Do you think it is safe to play with him away from the wires?

My 2 are out all the time in my living room, they do jump onto things, i.e coffeee table ect..but I notice they don’t touch wires, but I was already rat proofed as they are all allowed to freerange, all I had to do when ferrets arrived was move things i.e table further away from sofa can’t jump the gap now, pouffe away from tv unit can’t get on there now, I think its a matter of letting them out and watching for problem areas and things and altering them to suit free range ferrets as they happen. they are quite clever I have one in particular who if I think hes going to jump on something I say his name and no and he doesn’t do it its nice to let them out especially when they come and sit on your knee, or follow you about, mine now come running like dogs to greet people when they enter the room, the more they become better behaved the more they come out, only really in cage now to sleep n eat, if I’m at home I don’t shut the cage just when its bedtime or when I go out…I also went one step further and ferret proofed my garden so they go outside alot, asking to come in then go out again I have a whistle and if I want them to come I blow it and they come running lol look on youtube theres loads of vids showing ferrets in rooms with allsorts wires ect. lying around?
