Seat Living Family

How to I arrange big furniture in a small living space?
Got new furniture (over sized couch, love seat and chair that is the size of a normal love seat) and I might of messed up the scale, I like it and can’t return it anyhow. So how do I make it work for the smaller size of my living space?
Living room:
entertainment center
end table
square upholstered chair
big ol’ couch I just got
floor lamp
table top lamp
coffee table
leather covered chest
Front room:
desk
shelf
table for printer
end table
big love seat
big chair
family heirloom rocking chair
lamp
ficus tree (live)
bentwood chair that was left over from my old furniture
Would it help the size by removing the feet on the new stuff? It has these screw on feet that are keeping it almost six inches off the floor my son drove his remote control car under the couch it’s that high. Is it safe to remove the feet like will it break or wreck my flooring?
Gosh I need some help here!
It is very difficult to answer your question without seeing the space. Consider your transit paths through the room and the activities you do in the space. When you get new pieces, it is not uncommon to let some of the older ones go. Can the leather covered chest, for example, become the coffee table or the printer table? Just because things were in the LR before does not mean they cannot be move to another part of the house or completely out of the house.
Spend some time watching HGTV and you will get ideas about room arrangement.

Living As If Heaven Matters $14.99 “This book is a call to live for what matters forever. It is a challenge to view genuine success, not in terms of earthly acclaim or possessions, but in terms of a “well done” from Jesus. The primary focus of this book is to show readers how to live today “in heaven’s honor,” focusing on the day when we stand before God at the seat of judgment. A secondary focus will be a biblical theology of heaven with a description of its joys and rewards. This is not a general book about living the Christian life severed from its relation to what happens in eternity. Just as there are levels of anointing and affirmation on Earth, this book shows that there will be levels of anointing and affirmation in heaven. It helps us to see that there is kingdom work to do?that will last forever.” |

Judgement Seat Of Christ $10.99 “Are you spurned on by the thought of the reward that awaits you in heaven – or do you regard this as carnal and superficial? R.T. Kendall looks at various aspects of the subject of ‘judgment’ as it is described in the Bible. He interprets the relevant texts with sound exegesis that does not toe any particular ‘party line’.He gives a clear picture of the purposes and effects of the judgment. He also explores the effect of not living with right attitudes towards other believers or zeal for Christian work. All of the subjects discussed will have an effect on our reward. Without softening the process of God’s judgment Kendall shows that there will be many unexpected additions and omissions from God’s book of life.” |

Living Worship – Living Praise $9.95 “What fills the great heart of God with divine pleasure? How can we know the intimacy with the Father that our soul craves? On the other hand, what is the most misunderstood and divisive issue the church faces today? Finally, a book that gives more than ?lip service? to the topics of worship and praise. Author, and Worship Leader, Gregg Spilker is convinced that the benefits of true worship extend far beyond singing along with the ?worship team? on Sunday mornings. Spilker is clear – worship and praise should be the lifestyle of every believer and is crucial to receiving promised blessings from God. This book declares that words of praise from our lips will change lives and destinies ? unlock prison doors ? bring rain to a parched soul ? become the shelter in the storm ? a lifeboat in a sea of despair and will lift us into the heavenlies to touch the face of God. Living Worship ? Living Praise will change the way you ?do church? and ?do life.? It should be in the library of every worship leader and minister and in the home of every Christian family desiring to please God. Yes, ?Prayer changes things, ? but wait until you see what Praise will do” |

We see how President Carter learned about other faiths from Prime Minister Menachim Begin and President Anwar Sadat; learned a lesson in forgiveness from a clash with commentator George Will; how he was inspired by the simple theology of preacher Ely Cruz, “Love God and the person in front of you”; and how the cheerful strength of family friend Annie Mae Rhodes taught him the meaning of “patient faith.” >Rooted in scripture and infused with a vision of how a dynamic faith can enrich our public and private lives, this is the most personal book yet by one of our most admired Americans–a warmly inspirational volume to give and to share. >”From the Hardcover edition.”" |

Balanced Living $19.99 “Have you ever ridden in a vehicle when the wheels were out of balance? The car will begin to vibrate at around 50 miles per hour, and this vibration will increase in intensity as you accelerate. Pretty soon, you will feel the vibration in the steering wheel, seats and floorboards, and instead of the tires spinning smoothly, they will literally “bounce” down the road. It’s a bumpy and uncomfortable ride, and the life of the tires, ball bearings, shock absorbers and other components will be much shorter than if the tires had been kept in perfect balance. > Your life can get in the same shape as unbalanced wheels. If you forge ahead without a plan, you may first notice things are a bit shaky. The more you do and the faster you go, the louder and more intense the shaking becomes. Soon, you feel the effects in your home, your family, your job and your relationship with others and with God. Your quality of life is diminished, and you begin “wearing out.” In Balanced Living, you will learn how to regain the balance that God intended for each of us to have in all four areas of our lives: mental, physical, emotional and spiritual.” |

Living Christianity $14.99 “Living Christianity is an important text that arms the modern Christian with insight, history, thought provoking analysis and warnings. In a world of religious ambiguities, coupled with an increasing secularist outpouring, many Christians are left behind in a sea of doubt. The range of questions a Christian may have can be discouraging and the inability to respond coherently to an approaching cynic can demolish an already shaky confidence. Whether you have issues with comprehending the concept of God or you would like to better understand Jesus, this book offers a collection of valuable insights to tough questions and engages your thoughts so you can make your own decisions. Knowledge is the only obstacle to understanding and this book is the answer. In his final semester of graduate school, Travis Mashburn had the fortunate experience of a self igniting spark that transitioned him from bystander to soldier in the fight for Christ. Though his major was electrical engineering, he developed a keen interest in religion and began to question conflicting viewpoints from equally reliable Christian authorities. Mashburn’s pursuit of understanding merged with a desire to encourage others to learn. He spent three years meticulously going through the entire Bible and summarizing it. He then began handing out the summary to friends, family and anyone else who wanted it. But, as he tried to engage fellow Christians by providing this tool for learning, Mashburn realized that what people really needed was motivation and encouragement. He knew that providing these two things would strengthen the Body of Christ. With that in mind he wrote Living Christianity.” |

Abby Lee asks, “How would you define simpler?” as she thoughtfully reflects on the horrors of World War I, the flu epidemic of 1918, the depression of the 1920′s and the changes as her children grow up and move away. When the reporter remarks about how hard it must have been to outlive so many people she cared about, Abby Lee’s reply reflects the peace she has learned throughout her life.” |

Living the Word $18.99 “Living the Word is a devotional commentary and a practical guide to finding happiness through obedience to God’s Word regardless of life’s circumstances. It walks with the psalmist verse by verse through each of the 22 stanzas of Psalm 119 as he struggles to live for God in a hostile world. It sits with him in the dust of despair, joins him in the school of affliction and sings with him as he celebrates the wonders of God’s Word. The psalmist was persecuted and oppressed by wicked men. He was often discouraged and sometimes depressed, yet he always found joy and comfort in God’s perfect and eternal Word. Living the Word captures the psalmist’s love for God’s Word and challenges the reader to make it his own. It journeys with him across the mountains and valleys of his earthly pilgrimage, and distills his wisdom into practical applications for daily living. Kelsey Garman has studied and taught the Bible for nearly 60 years.
