FPO, AP postage accepted in IL?
I have ordered some goods on ecay about 3weeks ago and the guy have shipped it to my FPO address in Yokosuka Japan.
however it hasnt come yet and i have checked back with the seller and gave me the USPS tracking number…
BUT it shows that it was accepted in ISLAND LAKE, IL 60042????
wHy is this happeneing i do not understand i know for military posting, it takes a little longer but does it take this long??
PS i have ordered a Satin Nickel key lock and a handel set for my front door….
all stuff traveling to the Pacific normally gets turned over to the military in San Freancisco. HOWEVER.. the military moved their faciltiies to LA and now everything in San Fran has to get trucked down to LA before proceeeding further.
DH is on Oki and has not gotten any of the past 3 boxes sent to him over the last 6 weeks yet. he went to ask what the deal was it the Kadena PO and that’s when he found out about the location change.
until everything gets sent directly to the new LA location, I’d expect a delay of at least 2 weeks for a while.
( a box he sent to me took less than a week so go figure)
