What is the blanket that hotels use between the sheets and comforter called?
I’m looking for the name of the blanket, is it called a throw, or? It is usally a sand colored blanket, and has a very soft feel to it, it is usually heavy, and goes between the sheets and comforter on most hotel beds. I’d like to buy a similar one for my bed at home if anyone has any suggestions.
I don’t think it has a special name. It’s a blanket. The difference is what material it’s made of. These days, in hotels, it’s probably fleece of some kind. Some fleeces are light, some are relatively heavy. I’d just go to a store that sells blankets and pick one that’s what you’re looking for. Wool blankets are almost always heavy, especially when they’re good quality, but can be quite expensive to buy and need a little more care in washing and drying than fleece does. On the other hand, they’re superior for warmth in my opinion.
