How I can dry the interior of an insulated travel mug?

Is there any way to get water inside an insulated travel mug? This is a of those with a stainless steel bowl, surrounded by a shell see through acrylic with an air space in the middle. I inadvertently ran mine (A gift with sentimental value) through the dishwasher (although it says in the background "is not dishwasher safe! Duh!) Now has about half a teaspoon of water interior space. Is there any way to get this to the destruction or damage to the cup? Is there any way to get water inside a insulated travel mug? I had the same problem. In the bottom of the mine had foam cover fell off after being in the dishwasher. There was a screw, unscrew and was able to let out the water. If you really like this cup, remove foam and try it. Nothing to lose, right?
