Should I force my xbox 360 to red ring?
I recently got an E74 error (one red quadrant flashing) on my two year old xbox 360 (standard warranty expired), and I found out that Microsoft can’t fix this error (is this right?), I also found out that the 3 year warranty extension only applies to a true red ring (three red quadrants), well anyway my friend told me you can force the xbox to red ring by wrapping it in towels and overheating it. I want to know if this can get Microsoft to fix my xbox or send me a new one.
