baby used to sleep all night, now waking up?

my daughter has sleep for 12 hours straight throughout the night since she was 8 weeks old, she is now 6 Months Old, and since she was 5 months she has been waking up a few times each night, its difficult to get her back to sleep. does any-one know why this might be happening or have any tips? i start back at work in a week and would be great if anyone can help. She has started on solids and has been teething for a while. i give her some herbal powder (parson and ashtons) and teething gel. Many thanks

My son did the same thing. Is there something that is different that might be waking her up? We moved to a new place and it took him a long time to become comfortable. Now that he has learned to sleep all night, I don’t give bottles at night anymore because he will get used to it and want it every night for like a week and then I have to break the habit. Tonight when she wakes up try to wait a few minutes before getting her out. Just listen to how she cries and see if she is only fussing a bit or if she’s actually crying. If she continues to cry for like 3 minutes then get her out and feed and change her. However, if it’s just a light cry, don’t get her out. She should fall back to sleep on her own. Good luck.
