Strainer Hair Trap
I have extremely thick hair, so is it logical to have more hair break off in the shower?
I have extremely thick hair, it’s course and curly/wavy, and much thicker than most other people I’ve seen. I’ve read a person is supposed to lose a certain amount of strands a day. Everytime I wash my hair, I have a “gob” of hair in the drain strainer/trap where the water drains during my showers. Considering I have a lot more thicker hair then normal people, would it be safe to say that I should have this extra “breakage” of hair? My hair is it’s natural hair color, and has not been processed in any way. I rarely dry it with a hair dryer, and use all the right products.
By ‘thicker’ if u mean more volume they it’s alright to lose a bit more than the average of 70-120 strands per day…
However, if u mean that each strand of ur hair is literally thick, then logically, your hair should be less prone to breakage than others…
Whatever the situation though, in the long-term, lots of hair-fall is never good…u should get frequent oil massages or some other sort of natural hair-treatment…
