Switchplate Cover

What kind of paint should I use for the switchplate and outlet covers?

I'm redecorating my daughters room and want to paint designs in the light switch and outlet covers. Does anyone know what kind of paint should I use? For the 'just bought an "answer, I've seen this option. Nowhere I looked (even eBay) had one that is still close to what I'm looking for. Thanks

If you are using plastic sheeting, lightly sand with fine (120 or higher) grit sandpaper to rough the surface a bit first. I would use the small bottles of paint made for plastic models (Get at a craft store) just be careful, because those things do not wash if they spill. So, to be sure, seal with clear sealer (spray or brush-a) after have been done to prevent scratching.
