Well you only have eight tables and I am doing something almost similar to my centerpieces but I have 300 guest. I bought around 5000 rose petals. And that was just barely enough for what I was doing. For you I’d go with the 1000 since you have only 8 tables. And if there is too much, well then you can always do something with them like putting them around the cake. But if you want to be dead on then like it was said before, by a small package at the store and test it. That’ll be a most definite answer.
