how to hang an extremely wide tapestry?

i found a really cool tapestry and i went to hang it in my room with command velcro (i want to have as little damage as possible to the walls) and it didnt really stay, and after i hung it i realized i hung it sideways. its meant to cover a twin sized bed, so what would be the best way to hang a tapestry that is extremely wide, but short?

Do not know if this would help. My Mother use to crotchet Last Supper Panels. they were around 5 ft wide and 3 ft long. she would put loops along the top edge about every 3 inches. The loops would be large enough to slide 1/2 inch copper pipe through. U can get that at the plumbing store. then would put curtain ends on the copper tubing after adding to panel. Makes for a very nice hanging. She would clean and polish the copper before using it so that it would shine.
