Tea Table Tray
Why do some people, at restaurants, ask for a coke (or some soda) AND a water?
I can understand wanting a water to go with an alcoholic beverage, but why a water and a coke? Or a water and a tea?
Is it because they are afraid they won’t get a refill so that is their backup (because the water rarely gets touched), is it because they think then the server won’t charge them their cold beverage, is it to try to offset the calories, or just because they want to see the server carry 6 drinks on a tray to a table of 3?
Someone shed light please! Thank you!
Because soda is overly sweet and dries out your mouth. Having some water will rehydrate your mouth.
