What are the top 5 furniture vendors besides Thomasville? And how do they rank?

I am recently married and my husband and I are looking to invest in bedroom furniture that will last 50 years in durability as well as style. I love the new collection by Thomasville called Urban Retreat. If I have to spend the extra I will, but do I have to? Broyhill makes a design called Attic Heirloom. I like it but I’m not sure if the ‘worm hole’ look is exactly right. Also, from what I have been told, Broyhill was the first to come up with this look before everyone copied it – Is this actually correct? Also, how do the furniture vendors rank? For example, I like Thomasville and my husband liked the Broyhill – and a friend said why settle for a Toyota when I can have a Porsche. Is this a fair statement? I like this America/French Country look and it seems to be something that will be timeless for years to come. Can someone please help? Thank you in advance.
