Roommate and her boyfriend used my toothbrush!?

So this past weekend my roommate went to a hotel with her boyfriend. They packed MY toothbrush. So that night I got a new one, wrote my name on it, and put it in the toothbrush holder. They returned the other toothbrush to the holder without saying anything so i just took it and placed it in front of the sink. Then an hour ago, he walked in the bathroom and I heard him brushing his teeth. I was suspicious and checked my new toothbrush afterwards. It was wet.
What would you do in this situation? I think i overreacted a bit. I scrubbed a few toilets with the new toothbrush and put it back then got a COMPLETELY new toothbrush, wrote my name all over it, then hid it. Do you think I overreacted a bit? What would you have done?

BTW I’m just posting it in LGBT because I am a lesbian and I was interested in what you guys would have done.

Damn, that’s hardcore. Congrats to you. I don’t think you overreacted, I would have thought about doing the same thing, but wouldn’t have had the kahunas to back it up. I think you reacted perfectly. Ewww, but just thinking about it now… they will have poopy water on their toothbrush and they will kiss… Gross *shivers*. I think still deserved though, they could’ve at least said sorry for taking your toothbrush to the hotel where they did god knows what with it.
