How do you store your child’s toys?

I’m trying to get organized and am kind of stuck for what to do with my daughter’s toys. We’ve used the munchkin storage cart since she was a baby and it won’t fit anything else and I know she’ll be getting lots more toys so I want to get something that will hold a lot. I’m not an organizer and the toys will be thrown in on most of days so I don’t want anything clear or that’ll show the clutter. I’m just curious as to what you other moms use and what you do about the bigger toys like sit and spins and push toys. Any suggestions would be really appreciated. Thanks!

Since that I have a very large wardrobe in my bedroom I left a section for toys. I have a 9 year old daughter and a boy of 28 months, so I can tell you that I have all sorts of toys. From dinosaurs to little princesses. It is fun, I adore all toys myself.

What I do not like and I am very strict on that, is mess.

So my daughter does not keep toys downstairs. I let her keep a couple of books. As for my son I bought him a nice box from Germany- medium size, he keeps his toys in it. I keep that in one side of the kitchen. Once a month I get all toys out of it and choose the once I will put in the wardrobe, so when he is bored we can get something from mummy s wardrobe.

Believe me it worked with my daughter much. As I told you I am a toy lover myself so I buy them new toys, I do not wait birthdays. But still kids get annoyed from them easily so when I see they are not playing with it I put it in the wardrobe and when they rediscover it, for them it is like new.

You should consider it. If you do not have space in your wardrobe find somewhere else.
