how to faux wood grain a cabinet?
I have two side pieces to my entertainment center that I want to faux wood grain. They are a smooth finish. Some sort of a imitation wood grain effect, on a type of laminate. They are a blond color, and I want to change them to walnut. Does anyone have some expertise on this subject? Hope so. Thanks in advance.
I bought this tool called a rocker. it is awesome!!!! I did my kitchen cabinet doors faux wood. I primed them & put a dark brown on them & let it dry. I put a lighter brown on top of that, then dragged the rocker over it(you rock it back & forth as you drag it-hence the name). turned out excellent!!!! gives the look & texture of real wood
