Would a hoop canopy make my twin bed look too childish?

I’m 21 and I have a very small bedroom and I live with my parents. I have a white twin sleigh bed and I was wondering if a hoop canopy would look too childish for a twin bed. I have seen them used on regular sized beds.

You could use an antique white crown which will add some sophistication and be small enough in scale to adapt to a twin size bed – especially a sleigh bed.
